Meet the Candidates – Lord Mayor – City of Melbourne

Hello to fellow Residents of the CBD!

For our regular Forum 3000 event this month, Thursday 5th April 2018, Residents 3000 are pleased to invite you to meet some of the candidates for the position of Lord Mayor – City of Melbourne.

We have invited candidates who have confirmed that they are running in the election.  The closing date is the 10th April which is after our event.  However we can confirm at the time of this post that the following candidates have been invited to attend.  These are:

  • Sally Capp
  • Ken Ong
  • Rohan Leppert
  • Jennifer Yang
  • Gary Morgan (will be an apology due another commitment)

This is a must attend event.  It is a golden opportunity to meet the person who may be our next Lord Mayor.  The candidates will no doubt explain their views and their aspirations for the city.  You will have the chance to ask them questions and take part in the discussions.

All of this will happen in the convivial surroundings of the Kelvin Club where you can avail yourselves of their high class bar and our usual refreshments following the talks.

The timing is:  Arrival and registration at 6pm.  Presentations begin at 6:30pm.  Address: 14-30 Melbourne Place (off Russell Street).  Current Members:  No charge.  Guests (who are most welcome): $5.00 to cover costs.
