Residents 3000 – Forum 3000 Event – Trivia

Dear Residents of Melbourne’s CBD

You are invited to our next Forum 3000 – a Residents 3000 monthly event, which will be held on Thursday, 1st March 2018 at the Kelvin Club (14-20 Melbourne Place just off Russell Street). Registrations and pre-drinks start at 6.00pm and our trivia night fun commences at 6.30pm.

This is a fun night.  Its time to socialise with your fellow residents and to test your knowledge of our great city.  Our Master of Ceremonies, Artur Hajda, has let slip the topics so that you can do your homework!

  1. Laneways – Melbourne has many special places – do you know them?
  2. Events – Some are easy like Moomba Festival and the Australian Open but what else?
  3. History – some fascinating questions here.  Old buildings, folk lore, traditions that define our city.

There will be the above three sessions of questions interspersed with refreshments and brain food.

The night should finish around 8 to 8:30pm or even a bit later if we are having too much fun.

The event is free for our current members. If your membership has lapsed you are welcome to renew at $25 per person. There are quite a lot of members who maybe paid 12 months ago now, but are actually lapsed.  We will be sending special lapsed members an email shortly as a gentle reminder that we really would appreciate your membership currency.

Our president will again explain on the night about our door prizes that will reward members who attend lots of Forum 3000 Events.  More of that to come in future correspondence.

Non-members will be asked to contribute $5 to cover costs. New members welcome!

Best regards
Sue Saunders – Vice President on behalf of our hard working Committee
