Forum 3000 – Queen Victoria Market redevelopment overview and petition

Residents 3000 are pleased to invite you to our fifth Forum 3000 of the year, which will be held at the Kelvin Club, 14-30 Melbourne Place (off Russell Street) on Thursday, 6 June 2024, from 6:00pm.

The Melbourne City Council has embarked upon an extensive mixed-use redevelopment of the heritage-listed Queen Victoria Market and the local surrounding precinct.

The local residents, Friends of Queen Victoria Market Inc., and long-time traders will present an overview of the redevelopment and explain their petition to save the market.

This event will offer the usual informative presentations, a question and answer session, and lively debate on how our city and neighbourhoods are affected by redevelopments.
