3000 Steps – Walking with neighbours

Melbourne City CBD residents walks

3000 Steps – Walking with Neighbours is a monthly event where Melbourne CBD (and surrounding areas) neighbours get to meet and walk together and discover the city of Melbourne.

The walks are organised on the last Thursday of the month.

3000 Steps – 2021 Programme:

25 March 2021 at 6pm – COMPLETED
– meeting point: Old Treasury Building steps;
– starting time: 6pm;
– expected distance: up to 2.5 km;
– expected return at 7:15pm to Spring St;
– theme – Spring Street development, visit to the gardens including Fitzroy Gardens pavilion.

29 April 2021 at 5.30pm – COMPLETED
– meeting point: State Library of Victoria near Joan of Arc monument;
– starting time: 5:30pm;
– expected distance: up to 2.5 km;
– expected return at 7:00pm to State Library Victoria;
– theme – State Library Forecourt, what’s new in the State Library, Wesley Place, Carlton Gardens.
